The "Citing Cases" section shows you cases that have cited to the case you are viewing. You can access the section by clicking on the "Citing Cases" tab at the top of a case:

Filtering Cases Within the "Citing Cases" Tab

You can use the Filter and Narrow function on the left side of the screen to find citing cases that match your search criteria, either via keyword search or by filtering by jurisdiction.

  1. Enter your search term (keyword, party name, etc) into the search bar on the left side of the screen
  2. Hit Enter/Return on you keyboard


Filtering "Citing Cases" by Jurisdiction

The "Citing Cases"  section will initially capture cases from all jurisdictions.

To only see cases from from specific jurisdictions in the Citing Cases section, follow the steps below:

  1. Click on the "Select Courts" link in on the left side of the page.

2. Apply the jurisdiction(s) you want and click the "Apply Jurisdictions" button in the lower right corner of the screen.
