CoCounsel Core can save common questions, explanations, and policies as favorites. CoCounsel Core asks for this kind of information when you are using file-based skills that allow you to focus its attention. These skills include Review Documents, Extract Contract Data, and Contract Policy Compliance.

Use favorites to save common questions, explanations, and policies to avoid retyping or copying and pasting the same information. For example, maybe you always ask the same set of questions when opposing counsel files a certain type of brief, or maybe you always need to extract the same data from certain types of contracts.

File-based skills with focus

Begin by using a file-based skill that allow you to focus CoCounsel Core's attention. CoCounsel Core will ask you to identify the files it should use, and then it will ask how to focus its attention. This focus will differ by skill.

  • For Review Documents and Extract Contract Data, you will focus CoCounsel Core's attention by asking questions or explaining the information you want to find in documents or contracts.

  • For Contract Policy Compliance, you will focus CoCounsel Core's attention by providing the policies it will use to analyze the existing terms of the contracts.

You may type this information, copy and paste it from another source, or you may add this information from your list of favorites.
